12th June 2022 – Glasshouse
Glasshouse Bowls Club was the venue for Brisbane Northside Arm Bowlers Association Inc on Sunday 12th June 2022 and it was a little windy and cool, but a good day anyway.
We had a field of 18 at this event. We had players from 12 Clubs in attendance Pine Rivers, Kallangur, Brighton, Glasshouse, Donnybrook, Caboolture lakes, Aspley, Narangba, Samford, Northern Suburbs, Toombul and Coorparoo.
The winners of our 2x4x2 Pairs Event with a 2 + 11 were Graeme Pitt and Pat Fitzell (Pine Rivers), Runners-Up was Marg Rosier and Brian Armstrong (Kallangur) with a 2 + 5.
The winners of our 3 Bowls Pairs with a 2 + 12 was a tie between Marg Rosier and Brian Armstrong (Kallangur) and Graeme Pitt and Pat Fitzell (Pine Rivers).
Overall winners for the day were Graeme Pitt and Pat Fitzell (Pine Rivers) with a 4 + 23. Runners Up were Marg Rosier and Brian Armstrong (Kallangur) with a 4 + 17.
We also had a Triples match and the winners were Max Drysdale (Coorparoo), Graham Meyers (Glasshouse) and Shona Armstrong (Kallangur) with a 2 + 5.
I would like to thank Glasshouse Bowls Club for their hospitality and the lovely sandwiches that they supplied and also the $30 donation that they made to BNABAi. We will be back in 2023.
