23rd February 2020 – Enoggera Bowls Club

Enoggera Bowls Club was the venue for Brisbane Northside Arm Bowlers Association Inc on Sunday 23rd February 2020 and it was a great day once again. We had 27 players from 13 Clubs competing. We had players from Wynnum, Manly, Pine Rivers, Red Hill, Chermside, Scarborough, Samford, Geebung, Sandgate, Kallangur, Woodford, Northern Suburbs and Caboolture Lakes competing. Great effort from all who attended!

Barry French (Wynnum) and Frank Farrall (Manly) were the winners of our 2x4x2 Pairs Event with a 2 + 17 and Runners up were Elizabeth Bristow (Pine Rivers) and Doug Bristow (Pine Rivers) with 2 + 13. Hard fought competition again.

Jeff Bell (Scarborough) and Trevor Gray (Scarborough) were the winners of our 3 Bowls Pairs with a 2 + 12 and Runners Up were Elizabeth Bristow (Pine Rivers) and Doug Bristow (Pine Rivers) with a 2 + 8. Another well fought out set of matches.

The winners of the Triples event were Warren Cresdee (Geebung), Peter Stone (Pine Rivers) and Geoff Jordan (Kallangur) with a 2 + 6.

Overall winners for the day were Elizabeth and Doug Bristow (Pine Rivers) with a 4 + 22 and Runners Up were Jeff Bell and Trevor Gray (Scarborough) with a 4 + 14. A good tight tussle.

We were one short for the day again and Keith Pretsel (Kallangur) kindly decided to have the day off.

Well done to all who competed. The matchups are going well with some closely fought matches.
